Veteran Participation

Every veteran’s story is interesting and worthy of preservation. If you served in the Pacific Theater of World War II, the jungles of Vietnam, more recently in Bosnia, or the Persian Gulf – you have been at the forefront of history. You lived through events and in conditions that most people could never appreciate.

You have served your country and answered its call to duty.

We honor your service and preserve your memories

Remember Their Service would like to record your memories, your stories from your time overseas. Whatever you’d like to share is fine as I don’t have an agenda or an opinion that I’m trying to prove with this project. We will video tape your interview in your home or wherever you are comfortable (within reason as we need a reasonably quiet setting for good sound recording). If you have photos or your own video/film we can include that as well to add variety and increase the impact of your story. The five-minute compilation segments and the hour-long documentary will be a reflection of the veterans who are interviewed. Remember Their Service is the result of your voices, your memories and your feelings.

If you would like to participate in Remember Their Service please use the comment box below to send your name, address and contact info (email, phone). I will contact you once we are ready to start production of the biography interviews. I am located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but will travel as budget allows to meet with you and record your story.

Your Biography DVD is
our gift to you

NOTE: As mentioned on the “Biography/Documentary Distribution” page, your interviews will be sent to the Library of Congress for their Veterans History Project. These submissions must be at least 30 minutes in length and be about veterans who served in the following:

     World War I      (1914 – 1920)
     World War II      (1939 – 1946)
     Korean War      (1950 – 1955)
     Vietnam War      (1961 – 1975)
     Persian Gulf War      (1990 – 1995)
Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts      (2001 – present)

If your service record does not match the Library of Congress criteria we will not be able to submit your video biography to them. Your memories though are important to Remember Their Service and are wanted for the project.
